— CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY —
What is it?
—
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful therapy which supports and enhances overall health in the body. This relational, body-led therapy is met by the practitioner facilitating the clients ‘whole’ body to deeply rest through safety and skilful touch. The practitioner works closely by ‘listening in’ to the central nervous system and all the supporting physiological and structural systems the body as it deepens into a state of relaxation and restoration where imprint patterns that are causing imbalances and hinderances begin to soften and expand - freeing up the body from imbalances such as stress and chronic pain - orientating it back towards it’s natural expression of innate health and wholeness.

— ABOUT ME —
Anita Cassetta (BA BCST RSCT)
—
I am a fully registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist whose practices specialises in working with babies, children, teens and adults. I provide treatment for a wide range of conditions such as perinatal work for Mummies and babies, unprocessed trauma, stress and chronic pain.
My work practice prioritises in establishing a feeling of safety and trust in client relationship through a heart-centred presence and deep whole-body listening. I have a natural ability in helping her clients to become more aware of their embodied presence as well as developing health, balance and compassion from within.
After an extensive career with working the Communication Arts, I felt naturally drawn to retrain as a Craniosacal therapist after experiencing the transformative and lasting benefits for myself. I am compelled by the impact of body-led work, and understanding how narratives can be interwoven deep within the fabric of our emotional, physical and spiritual bodies. These patterns can interplay as the body expresses itself in its own unique way. In my practice, I find the discovery and deep body work with clients resonates perfectly with my creative, curious nature and highly attuned skillset as an embodiment therapist. I bring a confidential and safe holding presence with mindful touch to the fore so that you are able to realise your own innate connection with the wisdom and health in your intelligent body.
My aim is to empower my clients to discover these deeper levels of integration in the body, by simultaneously discovering more self-awareness, self-love and self-compassion. I am deeply in touch with the many challenges we all face in the modern world. From childhood experiences of unprocessed trauma, a desire to set healthy boundaries, to realise one’s own strength fully, to starting whole new life chapters resounding with fulfilment and joy, I am able to hold a safe and confidential space of support for you. My practice is non-judgemental, with my natural ability of deep listening and skilful touch, along with a practical embodiment skills to empower my clients to become more balance, grounded, safe and resourced in their bodies, as well as to reach the highest potential and expression of health and wholeness.
I have accredited study with the acclaimed Karuna Institute in Devon, including a two-year residential training with the world pioneer of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Franklin Sills and then further training in Relational Mindfulness Diploma, with Maura Sills, Director and Co-Founder of The Karuna institute. I’ve also undertaken Post graduate training with ‘Mother and baby work’ at the CTET in London. I am deeply curious to learn and discover more in this specialised embodiment field - and in awe by the mysteries of the dynamic human body and it’s innate potential and healing abilities.
I am a fully registered Craniosacral Therapist with the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA) in the UK, and carry professional insurance and enhanced DBS to work specifically with children.
